Special Cases

DataHub TCP Link Licenses

If you plan to use the DataHub APIs for Windows to make a connection to the DataHub running in Windows or Linux, then you will need to purchase a TCP Link License for each concurrent connection.

You do not need a TCP Link License for the tunnel/mirror connection between DataHubs.

Cascade DataHub Licensing in Linux

The Cascade DataHub Node License for Linux enables:

  1. Unlimited SRR client connections from your local Linux applications (allowing you to read and write data), using the Cogent C API for Linux.
  2. Unlimited tunnel/mirror connections between DataHubs running on any other Windows or Linux computer.

Note: If you are using the DataHub APIs for Windows to make connections to the Cascade DataHub in Linux, then you will require a TCP Link License for each concurrent connection.
