DataHub Use Case
The engineering staff at a large natural gas production company in Asia needed to connect an OPC DA server to an HMI. Both the OPC server product and the HMI product offered tunnelling interfaces, but they were not compatible and were confusing to use.
When they tried the DataHub software, the staff found it easy and intuitive to configure a tunnelling connection. They also found the DataHub Redundancy feature useful, as they needed to configure a redundant connection across the tunnel. Implementation went smoothly, and they have since used the DataHub program in other systems with similar requirements.
