5.5.1. Supported Protocols

The Tunnel/Mirror feature works with these DataHub-supported protocols:

One end of the tunnel typically connects to a data source, while the other end connects to a data user. Often the data source is a server, like an OPC server, and the data user is a client, like an OPC client. But since the data flow can be one-way or bidirectional, any connected program can act as a data source or data user.

Because each DataHub instance acts as a unified namespace, you can connect with any data protocol at either end of the tunnel. For example, the data source might be an OPC UA server, while the data user could be an MQTT broker.
