Making Read/Query Connections How-To

Making Write Connections How-To

Using the Database Query option, it is possible to read data from an ODBC database and send it via a tunnel to any data user. Likewise, you can tunnel any data source to a DataHub instance that is configured for Database Write, and log the data.

[Note]

Since ODBC networks well, it is typically more advisable to use the Database Write feature for logging to a database across a network. Doing so allows you to use the built-in Store and Forward feature to recover data during network outages.
